Internships

The Office of Congressman Tom Malinowski is pleased to offer internship opportunities to exceptional undergraduate and graduate students available during the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters in both our Washington DC, and Somerville NJ locations. Internships are typically unpaid, but cost of living stipends may be available on the basis of demonstrated need. Scheduling is flexible based on your availability and the needs of the office.

Interns in both our Washington DC, and Somerville, NJ offices can expect to play a vital role in office operations serving as a first point of contact for constituents answering phones, drafting letters, providing tours of the capitol, and supporting constituent outreach events in the district. All interns can expect to participate in professional development opportunities, observe staff and stakeholder meetings, attend hearings and briefings on a variety of subjects, provide staff support to the congressman at events, and other tasks as assigned.

We request that applicants have at least 15-25 hours of availability per workweek.
