Gives Patients the Right to Know the Cost of Care Before they Receive it
(Washington, DC) Today, Congressman Tom Malinowski (D-NJ) introduced the bipartisan Know the Price Act. The bill protects consumers by requiring health care providers and insurers to disclose the cost of procedures and services recommended to the patient. Representative Malinowski was joined by Dr. Larry Bucshon (R-IN) as an original cosponsor.
