Press Release

(Somerville, NJ) This week Congressman Tom Malinowski wrapped up his May Congress in Your Kitchen series. These virtual gatherings are an effort to continue to serve and stay connected with constituents during this public health crisis. Congress in Your Kitchen has provided residents from each of the six counties in New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District the opportunity to share their views and concerns and hear updates on the federal response to COVID-19. Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, the Congressman regularly held Congress on Your Corner gatherings at local businesses to connect with constituents one on one.

“What I’ve heard from constituents enduring some of the most difficult moments in their lives has strongly influenced my advocacy for economic relief, more widespread testing for the coronavirus, and support for our frontline heroes,” said Congressman Malinowski. “I’ve also been able to connect with constituents looking for help navigating the New Jersey unemployment system and securing small business loans, whom our team is then able to assist. I will continue holding virtual gatherings throughout this public health crisis, and I look forward to meeting with residents in person as soon as we can safely do so.”
