Representative Malinowski Shares Constituent Services Updates

(Somerville, NJ) Since the middle of March, Representative Malinowski and his staff have worked around the clock to serve constituents remotely. Throughout the public health crisis, the office has opened over 2,880 casework requests from constituents and resolved over 1,640. Many of these cases come from constituents seeking help securing unemployment benefits and small business resources. Several constituents shared their experience receiving help from the office:
“I contacted Congressman Malinowski’s office out of frustration regarding my attempt to seek unemployment insurance benefits. Due to COVID19, I was unable to reach a representative to confirm benefits. Thanks to [the Congressman’s office], I was finally able to secure the benefits. I am most grateful for their kind and compassionate responses and ultimate resolution to the issue,” said Gabrielle from Hillsborough.
“I reached out to Congressman Malinowski’s office to help with my UI claim. His office and staff were quick to respond to my request and opened an inquiry with NJDOL…The Congressman’s staff continually were quick to respond to my emails and it was nice to get those responses from his staff and not an automated response as I was getting from NJDOL. I thank him and his staff for getting my issue resolved,” said Charles from Clark.
