Year in Review
My first year representing the 7th Congressional District has been busy. I’ve hosted 32 Town Hall meetings and Congress on Your Corners to answer your questions. My team has held dozens of mobile office hours helping constituents resolve problems with Medicare, Social Security, veterans’ benefits, and immigration, and driven over 9,000 miles, meeting with residents and listening to their concerns.
Our office is always available to assist you. One example we’re proud of is Jeffrey, who for a full year was not receiving Social Security benefits due to a Social Security Administration error. Within 2 weeks of contacting our office, he received over $10,000 he was owed, and his regular monthly payments resumed.
Jeffrey’s case is just one of 698 my office has opened for constituents this year to assist with federal issues. We’ve closed 494 cases to date, as well as hosted regular public information events that have provided resources to seniors, veterans, and small businesses.
In Washington, I’m working hard to represent your interests. I’m making progress securing funding for the Gateway Tunnel and fighting domestic terrorism. I’ve introduced bills to provide Medicare benefits to our retiring first responders, safeguard our elections, fight the PennEast Pipeline, and protect student borrowers. I’m also proud to be a leading advocate in Congress for the full restoration of our SALT deduction, expanding access to affordable healthcare, and protecting our children from gun violence.
Whether in Washington or at our District Office in Somerville – we are here for you. Give us a call at 908-547-3307 or visit us online at Malinowski.house.gov to send us an email. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
